The original KAWAii!! bash is making a comeback to Osaka.
KAWAii!! will take over the entire
Ame-mura (or America Mura) areafor the whole day!
There will be lots to do, at no admission fee!
OSAKA KAWAii!! 2015! Popular artists, models
and aomoji-kei fashion magazines will be on site!
OSAKA KAWAii!! 2015 is a large-scale bash that welcomes non-Japanese visitors to the area and aims to inject more KAWAii!! and vibrancy into the Kansai region. Mar. 28, 2015 (that’s a Saturday everyone!) will see all of the America Mura area transformed into a KAWAii!! mecca, with live performances from up-and-coming acts set to break in 2015, as well as popular aomoji-kei fashion models hosting talk shows, holding hand-shaking sessions and of course, walking the runway.
Tickets are free of charge so that as many people as possible can fully experience the KAWAii!! phenomenon. Proceeds from the event will go towards America Mura with the aim to make the area a cultural centre that attracts the international interest that it deserves.
